   Notice is hereby given that at its meeting to be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. at the SLU SBDC Building, Conference Room 131, 1514 Martens Drive, Hammond, Louisiana, the Board of Commissioners of the Hammond Area Economic and Industrial Development District, plans to consider adopting a resolution ordering and calling an election to be held within the Hammond Area Economic and Industrial Development District (the “District”) to authorize the levy of a tax upon the paid occupancy of hotel/motel rooms and other accommodations within the District.
