Chappapeela Sports Park

My name is Ryan Barker. I'm the Executive Director at Chappapeela Sports Park in Hammond, Louisiana. I'm a Hammond native, born and bred. I left for exactly 10 years, and when I came back, the growth, the business has been tremendous for the city of Hammond, and I'm excited to be back.

Since 2013, Chappapeela Sports Park has created eight youth programs and services over 70,000 people a month. We are in the business of hosting several events and tournaments that garner local and even outside of our state, and being right here on I-12 and having easy access to I-12 and I-55 is ideal.

My favorite part about being the director here at Chappapeela and running a business in Hammond is the family-like atmosphere and the community support.

My advice, if you're setting up a business here in Hammond, is make sure you have enough seats and tables available because they're coming!
